Duration: 4+ months

 

Job Responsibilities: 
Inspect and Review all project artifacts, come up with Acceptance Test cases
based on Requirements\Scenarios, provide feedback to improve quality of
documentation\code and get clarity on ambiguities so as to PREVENT\ DETECT
DEFECTS earlier in the software cycle. 

Collaborate across teams\disciplines to ensure
requirements\specifications\design\code is well understood and testable 

Log and maintain work items (reviews, issues, tasks, defects) in Visual
Studio team suite for accurate burn down and metric reporting\issue tracking
in an efficient manner 

Design\Create Testing strategy and Test plans, create , review, validate and
Execute tests, report Test results on going 

Design, create or adopt Testing tools\best practices following Test patterns
\templates\test code\ test data sets to enhance efficiency\ automation in
testing 

Provide Status updates and reports as required at specific milestones in the
project 

 

Qualifications: 

5 + yrs experience in QA in Data warehousing applications 

Strong QA skills 

Proficient in T-SQL. 

Experience in using WTT and VSTO UI automation 

Proficient in White box testing (backend, frontend), QA of Data models 

Strong Analytical skills 

Good understanding of SDLC methodology 

Experience working on Enterprise scale software development projects 

Good written and verbal communication skills required. 

Ability to keep project team and management well-informed of progress and
problems 

Previous Microsoft IT experience a huge plus
