Lead VBScripter Location Omaha, Nebraska
Duration 6 Months Rate 50 (If you have a perfect fit but need to send them in at a higher rate please still submit me this resume) *looking for a strong VBscripter with lead experience*. Someone who can be an individual contributer with minimal need for oversite. They are not looking for a manager, but someone with lead experience. *Manager is requiring a complex sample of candidates VB Scripting attached to the resume*. Candidates will not be considered without example provided. Essential Functions The candidate should have the following skills: *• Experience in a large corporate multi-domain/multi-site organization. * *• 6+ years packaging applications into MSI packages using Wise Package Studio* *• 4+ years deploying applications via SMS/SCCM * *• Experience and knowledge implementing standards according to the defined Microsoft Windows Logo Standards * *• Extensive experience with application virtualization technologies such as Softgrid/App-V as well as desktop virtualization technologies such as Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop. * *• Extensive scripting experience utilizing a variety of languages such as VB Script, C#, Perl, VB.NET, Powershell and/or WinBatch or other programming languages.* • Experience creating packages for a Terminal Services Server environment that works harmoniously across all Windows desktop platforms. • Experience troubleshooting and elevating registry and file system security through MSI in a locked down desktop environment. *• A solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies including: Ethernet, TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, and DHCP are required.* *• Excellent written and oral communication skills* • Ability to articulate technical issues to management. • Review and approve application automation requirements • Create scripted engineered solutions for medium-to-complex issues according to specified requirements and design • Identify research, diagnose and escalate (as needed) production problems such as defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in systems functions, outputs, and content. • Troubleshoot medium-to-complex application issues by providing 3rd level support. • Manage various types of application initiates, upgrades and maintenance activities • Train and mentor junior Engineers • Present technology roadmaps to members of technology management as well as business partners Required Skills: Job Requirements *• Must possess a minimum of 6 years experience (direct experience, including best practices) in Package Engineering, including knowledge and implementation of Windows Logo standards* • Must be very detail oriented • Proven ability to work effectively in a team setting as well as independently with minimal error and guidance • Sense of urgency and commitment to providing the best support possible to both internal and external clients • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of associates in the organization • Must posses a advanced understanding of how various systems and applications interact • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required • Microsoft Certified System Engineer certification preferred • Financial services experience strongly preferred Essential Competencies Technical/Functional Skills, Problem Solving, Decision Quality, Action Oriented, Communication Skills, Developing Direct Reports and Others, Process Management, Conflict Management *# of Years Required: • 6+ years packaging applications into MSI packages using Wise Package Studio* *• 4+ years deploying applications via SMS/SCCM Preferred Skills: Required Education: • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required* -- Thanks & Regards, Aaron Sr.Technical Recruiter Generic Solutions Inc. | A Minority Certified Company | 12200 Ford Road Suite # 480.
