We have urgent requirement of Java/Swing Developer in CHICAGO, IL Java/Swing Developer Location: CHICAGO, IL Duration*: **6+ MONTHS* KEYS: Java Swing, Investment Sector experience - Candidate will have experience with the following: • Degree in Computer Science or related discipline • Minimum six years developing software utilizing Java, with at least recent two years developing Swing-based GUI software. • Experience developing stand-alone client applications in Java using Swing and RMI • A solid understanding of the basics of GUI design and the Model-View-Controller (MVC) framework - • Experience with software development processes & lifecycles • Experience working with a global team - Prior experience developing software using Eclipse and ClearCase - • Financial/economic knowledge • Solid Object-Oriented analysis and design techniques In addition, the following skills are desirable: •• Good communication skills are required to work with IT peers in all streams • Experience working in a traditional, non-agile development environment • Exposure to project planning concepts and tools Operations IT is looking for a strong Java Swing developer to join our team and 'hit the ground running'.
