Position: C++/C POS Developer Location: Ann Arbor, MI Duration: 6 Months C++/C POS Developer to assist our client in the development, modification, testing and documentation of their applications for Point of Sale (POS) terminals and Electronic Cash Registers (ECR). Our Client has roughly 150 applications that are tied into the POS system and they are in the process of cleaning up and revamping many of these. Some of these applications range from ie: Credit Card Auto Renewal (charge for membership in 12 Months) to price calculations, and credit authorization. They may need this person to assist in the upgrade path for the credit switch. This work would include testing, documenting, and making necessary changes. Must Have: 5+ years experience developing Legacy Applications in C++ and C. Experience working with Point of Sale (POS) applications is highly preferred. Development experience within complex Transaction Systems. Nice to Have: Linux Red Hat / Unix. Experience in the any of the following industries: Retail (Preferred), Banking, Medical, and Insurance. Java Software installation experience.
