Must be very process oriented, but very conceptional at the same time.*** * * Miscellaneous Analytical Skills/ Problem Sol Yes 1 Miscellaneous Communication/Interpersonal Yes 1 Miscellaneous Testing Skills Yes 1 Specialties Quality Assurance Yes 1 The Hartford Skills Customer Service Skills Yes 1 Web Tools Writing Skills Yes 1 OnBoard Project-Business Analyst Description: Business Analyst has primary accountability for providing client support and consultation on the development of business requirements in the design and delivery of both business and IT solutions throughout the lifecycle of the project; elicit needs for complex business and technical issues, translate and document needs into understandable requirements, and manage scope and solution design to those requirements; work collaboratively with internal development and 3rd party solution provider to deliver best possible requirements solutions by demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of business strategies, products, functions and processes, services and methodogies; understand the goals and risks associated with the business and technical requirements and offer counsel on risk mitigation and the alignment of requirements with objectives; demonstrate a team orientation by working closely and effectively with customers, development teams and outside services; demonstrate solid skills in the use of business analysis tools and methodologies. This position will be a hybrid analyst role between business and technical. This candidate will lead a complete migration off a current information system, which includes definition of short-term and long-term solutions, identification of all business dependencies on current system and execute the implementation of this new solution. The role will have responsibility for all stages of the project lifecycle and will require active participation in both requirements and quality assurance (testing) of the new solution. This position will be focused solely on the implementation of a major system replacement solution that will have major business process re-engineering. This position will have accountabilities for business process mapping and proposing new methods for processing business. This business will be the primary voice of several business areas and will require thoughtful and accurate translation of their needs. This position will have some project management responsibilities including identification of tasks, delivery dates, influencing delivery of other resources and project status. This position will have responsibility for the creation of accurate and meaningful training documentation and facilitate the project into an operational ready state. This includes developing business process for utilizing the application and integrating with existing business process (which may not be documented).
