LabWare LIMS Administrator

Location:  St. Louis, Missouri

Rate: Open depending on experience

Start-Date:  ASAP

Contract Length: 6 months with extension planned

 

 

Required skills:

*       LabWare LIMS Administrator requirement for a client of mine in St.
Louis, MO.  The position is focused on the configuration and implementation
of LabWare LIMS module, and also Crystal Reports Development.  Our client is
looking for a candidate to start right away and interview immediately.  
*       We arein pursuit of a Labware LIMS technical consultant to assist
our client in Missouri. The individual selected will become a member of our
Manufacturing IT Team, which has global responsibility for bridging software
solutions with business processes to support, enhance, and build fully
integrated IT solutions that meet business requirements while enabling best
business practices.
*       Experience with Labware LIMS and Crystal Reports
*       Ability to perform system design and system development duties
within Labware LIMS
*       Configuration skills within Labware LIMS
*       Excellent communication skills

 

The succesful candidate for this role will:

- Participate on the core team for the global LIMS design and implementation
effort.

- Become a key system development and configuration resource for the Labware
LIMS.

- Become a key process and system support resource upon project completion
and system implementation.

- Interface with business end users of the application to gather
requirements

- Assist in customizing the Labware module to meet functional demands

Develop and maintain a thorough and direct understanding of our genetic
purity lab process and procedures, as they relate to Quality Management and
Lab operations. 

.           Develop and maintain relationships within the IT and Business
teams, driving issue resolution and facilitating design and discussion
sessions

.           Participate on the Core Team for the global LIMS
design/implementation project.

.           Become a key system development and configuration resource for
the LabWare LIMS.

.           Become a key process and system support resource upon project
completion and system implementation.

 

Additional responsibilities of this role and team include:

 

The candidate must:

.           Be self-motivated and results-oriented, with a Bachelor's
degree.

.           Have 3 years of experience in lab work, lab processes or system
development

.           Have strong analytical skills, the ability to learn quickly, and
the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously 

Desired skills/education/experience/attributes (ideal candidate): 

 

Business process knowledge Quality Management, Lab Operations, Lab
Information Management Systems.

Experience in Crystal Report development and use.
