Position Description SAP ABAP FI Procurement Senior
Programmer/Analyst
Responsibilities
• Assist functional teams to create functional specifications
incorporating best practices
• Liaison with the functional business teams to discuss, design,
and build/robust efficient solutions
• Evaluate and analyze functional specifications submitted by
functional teams
• Create Technical specifications based on the functional
specifications
• Test and support of complex SAP ABAP programming solutions to
meet requirements
• Document every step according to the M-DCPS project adopted
standards
• Build solutions in Procurement (SRM, MM, and FI/CO) according
to M-DCPS business requirements
• Assist in gap analysis between M-DCPS requirements and SAP
functionality; review and adapt new functionality in SAP
• Review M-DCPS process requirements and suggest further
enhancements and improvements where possible
• Identify needs for system development, specify requirements
and review data requirements with functional teams,
• Develop interface designs to the identified legacy systems and
applications
• Analyze and develop FRICEW assigned objects
• Assist in identifying data to be cleansed
• Assist in developing and updating detail team project plan
• Adhere to ERP PMO standards
Qualifications
• At least 5 years experience as an ABAP Procurement Senior
Programmer/Analyst with at least one full lifecycle (end-to-end) SAP
implementation (SRM, MM, FI/CO)
• Solid SAP development experience with ABAP and ABAP objects
• Solid experience developing interfaces using ALE/IDOCS, BAPIs,
BDCs, and interfacing with middleware products like XI and Informatica
• Developing Classical, Interactive, ALV reports and DIALOG
programs
• Experience researching and coding User Exits, Customer Exits,
BTEs, and BADIs
• Experience with conversions using LSMWs
• Implementation experience in SAP version ECC 6.0
• K-12 experience desired
• Additional skills in other SAP modules a Plus
• Functional SAP experience a Plus IMG, Business Navigator is
desired
• Detailed knowledge of SAP implementation methodologies and
tools
• SAP Solution Manager, ASAP, IMG, Business Navigator is desired
• Experience in the Public Sector is desired
• Ability to debug and find out the cause root for exceptions
