DESCRIPTION: Summary: Responsible for the development and maintenance of the Tivoli software to support monitoring of the AMS project and automated problem recovery procedures Essential Duties/Responsibilities: * Installation, implementation, and maintenance of Enterprise Systems Management (ESM TIVOLI) software * Development, testing, and implementation of problem recovery procedures within the ESM TIVOLI environment * Integration of IT monitoring tools into the ESM TIVOLI environment * Deployment of ESM TIVOLI agents into IT Infrastructure components to allow for centralized monitoring and management of the IT infrastructure * Evaluation and recommendation of products and process revisions to all levels of IT management and SBU clients Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred. Any combination of applicable education and experience equal to four years in addition to the experience requirement below Experience: * Five (5) years experience analyzing the performance of hardware and software; * Applying generally accepted programming standards and techniques to assure efficient program logic and data manipulation; * Participating in designing, coding, testing, debugging, configuring and documenting operating systems and software; * Installing software and user utilities for modification and upgrades of operating systems and workstation environments; * Planning and executing software upgrade releases and custom interfaces; and recommending selection, approval, and acquisition of hardware, software and services.
