Enterprise Web Infrastructure setup and support Merck's Intranet and DMZ web infrastructure that contains over 600 DMZ websites and 2000 Intranet websites on Apache/Tomcat infrastructure. . Working in a clustered environment where there are more that 5 servers in one cluster. . Handelling of more than 25 applications on BEA weblogic 8.1 . Interfaced and troubleshooted with clients for resolution of production and maintenance issues. . On call support, primary on pager for Merck's 12x2 model of support. . Worked very closely with the development teams in debugging the application problems. . Created multiple Requests for Changes (RFC's) for production changes in the environment using "Remedy" by BMC software for Change and asset management. . . Project Documentation and maintaining statistical data and different versions of the documents using Documentum. . Used the Interscope Wily tool for Monitoring of the environment. Package, build, integrate and deploy enterprise J2EE applications on Weblogic8.1/9.1 that involves EAR, JAR, WAR files. . Responsible for monitoring and maintaining content management tools such as Opendeploy, Clearcase, Subversion, Clearquest, JIRA, Day Communique and Teamsite tools. . Merck has its own customized work flow, used ClearQuest hooks to customize the workflow. . Used the IBM Rational ClearQuest API to customize the Rational ClearQuest predefined hooks, to write our own hooks. Used Perl Scripts for writing field, action and other hooks in clearquest. . Worked along with IBM opening Problem Management Record (PMR's) for product enhancement issues and also for any unresolved bugs. .
