Minimum Requirements: Years Skills/Experience 8+ Experience on enterprise level data warehouse/business intelligence projects. 5+ Data Warehousing data population and data modeling techniques for target structures such as Star Schemas, Snowflake Schemas, and highly normalized data models 4+ Technical management / leadership experience including management and coordination of technical staff or vendors. 3+ GUI based ETL tools such as Informatica, IBM WebSphere DataStage, or similar tools. 3+ Implementation experience with enterprise class databases e.g. Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, etc or similar technologies. 3+ Implementation experience with analytical and reporting tools e.g. Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion, MicroStrategy or similar tools. 1+ Experience with preparing technical content for request for offers, request for information, requests for proposal, etc. for data warehouse projects. Strong Knowledge of data warehouse implementation process, from business requirements through logical modeling, physical database design, data sourcing and data transformation, data loading, SQL, end-user tools, database and SQL performance tuning. Strong Ability to develop complex logical data models, data architecture standards, & support compliance to policies and procedures including data structures & data elements naming standards. Strong A proven ability to implement appropriate enterprise data warehouse development methodologies that ensure effective management of technical risk, smooth integration of COTS products, identification and control of interfaces and development dependencies, and system quality through configuration management quality assurance and testing. Strong End-to-end experience on 2 or more enterprise data warehouse projects, preferably with at least one that included a substantial operational data store. Strong Proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups, and manage multiple responsibilities. Strong Excellent analytical, problem-solving, team playing and communication skills. Strong Strong technical writing skills. Yes Strong experience with establishing technical requirements for all aspects within a statement of work for solicitation of the implementation phases of an enterprise level data warehouse. Preferences: Years Skills/Experience 1+ Experience with management and coordination with external entities such as trading partners, vendors, customers, etc. on a data warehousing implementation effort. Strong Demonstrated knowledge of data integration techniques such as EAI (Enterprise Application Integration), EII (Enterprise Information Integration) and ETL to create an integrated enterprise data warehouse. Strong Proven track record as technical lead on outsourced data warehousing projects Strong Excellent project management and team leadership skills. Yes Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or other relevant discipline. Strong Solid and current working knowledge of the leading commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products in the data warehouse and business intelligence segments of the IT product market.
