The candidate must have EXCELLENT communication skills, 9/10 or above. *DESCRIPTION** * Internet Services Development is seeking a senior Performance Engineer to work in the Performance Test Group. This exciting role will allow the successful candidate to interact directly with key project stakeholders and directly impact production implementation of critical online business applications. The candidate will be expected to play a key role in ensuring that Internet Services applications perform as designed, while systems scale under increasing load. This role requires an analytical problem solving approach. You must be a good communicator with excellent presentation skills. *YOUR MAIN FOCUS WILL BE: * Studying new or existing production systems Modeling production behavior in the test environment, through creation of scripts Understanding and troubleshooting environment configuration Executing performance tests Analyzing results, identifying solutions that may improve application performance or system capacity. Documenting and presenting your results. *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS* - 4 year degree and 5+ years of technical experience with at least 3+ years performance engineering. - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Comfortable interacting with all levels of management and technical resources. - Well-developed presentation skills. - Proven problem-solving capabilities and ability to work independently. - Performance Center/Loadrunner is required and other performance tools like JMeter are bonus. - Experience with testing and tuning applications run on BEA Weblogic. - Experience with testing and tuning Oracle databases. - Intermediate UNIX/Shell Scripting abilities. - Good understanding and experience with Wily Introscope. *PREFERRED SKILLS*** Financial Services Performance Testing/Tuning. - Exposure to online fraud detection systems or basic understanding of. - Experience with JVM tuning concepts. - Capable of creating custom Wily pdb files. - Understanding of TCP/IP and the transportation layer. - Java concepts. - Deep understanding of http Please call me if you have any questions.
