The SRA process identifies security risks, analyzes the potential severity of the risks, and formulates reports and recommendations back to the project teams and/or platform owners on remediation or mitigation steps to reduce the risks. Mid-level (3-7 yrs) Information Security background with knowledge of information risk management and audit practices. Security engineering exposure a plus. Ability to translate application security profiles to an assessment of the security risks posed by the application (or application change) being implemented in production.
