Job Description:

 

Looking for a Business Analyst for one of its clients. Position can be
located in Oakland, CA or Pleasanton, CA or Denver, CO.

 

Position Description: 

*       Leads and delivers all aspects of requirements gathering and
detailed IT analysis of business requirements for a major claims data
warehousing construction effort. (THIS IS A MUST HAVE) 
*       Validates resource requirements and develops costs / schedules. 
*       Conducts and coordinates JAD sessions as needed with various
stakeholder departments and programs. 
*       Interprets and develops integrated business analyses and documents
for sign-off and implementation. 
*       Presents findings, researches and resolves issues, supports change
management activities, and provides consultative, technical, and staff
support, as appropriate. 
*       Experience Level: 10+ Years. 
*       Skill Set: Knowledge of project management principles, practices,
techniques, and tools. Knowledge and appreciation of business concepts and
requirements as applicable to a large claims operation in an insurance
company. 
*       Knowledge and understanding of requirements gathering and
documentation principles, processes, and techniques (at all levels of
detail). 
*       Ability to develop and prepare business analyses and plans. 
*       Ability to develop and deliver presentations. 
*       Knowledge of the principles of strategic business decision-making. 
*       Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. 
*       Consultative and advisory skills. 
*       Skill in the use of computerized spreadsheet, relational database,
and word processing software. 
*       Contractor to augment the Info strat team for analysis and solutions
work - strong in requirements gathering, documentation, and solutioning in
the information management space. 
*       Must have strong communication skills, strong membership or
background, and be sited in Oakland, Pleasanton, or Denver.
