Please respond to [email protected] Position: Sharepoint Support Analyst Location: Seattle, WA Duration: 6+months Description: Highly successful technology titan is in need of a Support Analyst for a long-term contract in downtown Seattle. You will be responsible for supporting and troubleshooting any incidents that arise within the production server, network and desktop computing environments, and documenting any fixes or troubleshooting steps to ensure procedural consistency. You will provide Tier2 support for production network and server hardware/software. Respond to and triage escalated 2nd-tier support requests for all production network and server systems, and work with other Operations team members to follow issues through to resolution. Coordinate issue resolution with 3rd-tier support personnel or outside vendors, as appropriate. Maintain procedural and troubleshooting documentation. Keep build guides and operating run books up-to-date as new information is gathered in the day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting of the production environment, to ensure consistent and repeatable processes are maintained. Execute installs of new or updated systems into the test and production environments. Perform installations of new or updated systems into the test and production environments by following prescribed Build Guides or Software Installations Guides. Troubleshoot the installations, as needed, to preserve the integrity of the environments. Tier1 monitoring and support for production network and server hardware/software, and initial handling of user-initiated support requests. Monitor production environment using existing monitoring tools, and provide 1st-tier response to any issues that arise, including user-initiated phone calls and emails.
