Duration: 6 months+
Skills:
-Ability to interact effectively with business users for understanding
business requirements, data needs or to fill any gaps in the requirements
-Ability to translate business requirements to strategically design
conceptual, logical and physical models for data mart or data warehouse
- Very good understanding of both the relational and dimensional modeling
concepts.
- Ability to define or follow naming standards in designing the models.
- Skilled in Data discovery, Data analysis & data profiling.
- Defines guidelines for data storage, retention, archival and purge.
- Very strong understanding of SQL & querying Oracle database
- Familiarity with using data modeling tools like ERWin
