*JOB TITLE: COGNOS DMR (DIMENSIONAL MODEL)*** * * Location: Oakland, CA Duration: 6 months Experience implementing Cognos DMR (Dimensional Model) Experience working with PeopleSoft EPM module Expertise building Powerplay cubes, Expertise building reports using relational and dimensional model Strong data warehousing experience This candidate will have implemented Cognos dimensional model for atleast one client preferably with PeopleSoft EPM as the source database. This person will have extensive knowledge of Cognos Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Query Studio and Metric Studio. Knowledge of Single Signon implementation with Cognos is also preferred. Must provide high level architectural guidance and future impacts of implementing DMR within the client’s model. Must be aware of and provide guidance on best practices to implement Cognos reports with DMR and/or relational model. This candidate will analyze existing report requirements and functional specs to recommend best Cognos tool and report/cube/model design that will provide efficient reports to end users.
