Project description
1.Project Description
The Global Tool for Acceptance and Continuance (GTAC) is being developed for 
deployment to client internally. It is an application that will be used by 
client personnel globally in order to implement acceptance and continuance 
policy in a consistent manner around the Firm. The project is currently in 
deployment phase.
2.Please give a high level explanation of the application on which this 
candidate would work.
The application is built on a third-party vendor product called Metastorm BPM 
(eWork). It has a configuration component, a questionnaire component, and a 
reporting component in addition. The application walks the end user through a 
workflow process in order to document the decisions made for accepting new 
work/services, or continuing existing work/services. It will be deployed to 
50,000 internal users across 144 countries.
3.Description of day to day tasks
As a developer on the Metastorm eWork application, this individual will be 
responsible for: taking business requirements documents and converting them 
into technical specifications; coding the application to meet those technical 
specifications; testing their own code and conducting peer reviews of code to 
meet the business requirements for the application; troubleshooting the current 
production environment where defects have been identified and correcting those; 
providing operational support for the application (scheduled rotational weekly 
on-call list with rest of development team); supporting QA in their testing 
efforts of the application.
4.Description of technical environment
.NET 2.0 on SQL2005 environment running Metastorm BPM (7.5) and Hyperion report 
(9.2). A third party vendor application (Metastorm) is at the core of the 
application with a custom-developed .NET application used for configuring 
questions and then rendering a questionnaire that is displayed in Metastorm 
(eWork). The application also has interfaces to local countries for optional 
use, as well as interfaces to other global applications -- the interfaces are 
XML, webservice, and pipe-delimited text formats.

Ideally the candidate will be located in NJ, however some of the team members 
are remote and so that will be considered. If remote, candidate will be 
required to occasionally come to Secaucus office.
