Job Title: Business Systems Analyst Location: Houston, TX Duration: 8 Months NOTE: STILL OPEN MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN C# AND .NET Job Description: The candidate will work on the team to support the Right of Way and Cost Estimating applications and develop data interfaces as necessary. The role entails serving as a liaison between Engineering and Construction (E&C) business process owners, who are users of packaged applications for Right of Way and Cost Estimating, and the IT support staff and vendors’ technical staff. Qualifications: A minimum of five (5) years combined experience as an Application Systems Analyst with background in configuration and installation of third-party application software. Must also have several years of data integration implementation experience using service-oriented architecture. Has experience with requirements, design and development of application integration solutions – SOA entailing Web services, messaging, XML, SOAP, etc. Must be experienced in coding application integration solutions using tools such as C#, etc. Demonstrated the ability to ferret out the facts that are relevant to the problem from users when analyzing issues. Excellent written and oral communications skills in English to effectively communicate with E&C, IT and other end users in various business stakeholder departments. Performs their role in a professional demeanor and the ability to develop effective working relationships with all users and IT support staff. Is a self-starter who is able to work independently as well as within a team environment. Understands the software development lifecycle. Must have experience and familiarity with implementing technical solutions in a Fortune 500 enterprise, understanding the ramifications of IT General Controls, SOX and other regulatory compliance effecting how they should perform their work. Earned a bachelor’s degree from a four (4) year degree program or equivalent.
