This candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing the front-end of a trade analytics portal solution for my client’s trading and investment groups. The portal services layer is based on event-oriented SOA and will be implemented using J2EE and third-party high-performance Java framework. The front-end will use the MS Silverlight, C# and MS Sharepoint. The services layer will apply various proprietary algorithms for generating trade execution, performance and cost analytics. Must be local to MA due to required in-person interview. Responsibilities: · Contributing to the design of the portal’s presentation layer · Coding of the presentation layer using mainly Silverlight, C# and Sharepoint · Participating in the design and laying the foundation for future Sharepoint-based portal · Using Web-services and messaging framework for accessing the middleware services from portal presentation layer · Work with the systems analysts and development lead to qualify functional specifications · Author design documentation · Design and implement a business domain model with complex business rules · Re-factor existing code with additional future versions · Develop presentation layer using Silverlight and C# to host content inside Sharepoint · Develop PL/SQL queries Skills: · 5+ years of OO Design and Analysis · 3+ years .NET (C# and Sharepoint) experience · 1+ years Silverlight experience · 2+ years of Web Services and Messaging Framework experience · 2+ years PL/SQL (Oracle) experience · 2+ years XML experience · 2+ years UML experience · Experience in designing the GUI of Analytical Applications a plus s sa
