Location: Middletown, NJ
Duration: 1 year +
Rate: $40-45 hr.

Job Description:
(What will the contractor do on that project?)
• Advanced Solaris and Linux (Redhat) knowledge
• Advanced experience with scripting languages like Perl/Tcl/TK/Shell
• Server administration skill set
• Website administration skill set
• Jumpstart and Kickstart experience
• Ability to work with open source software like Apache, MRTG, sendmail,
squid, etc.
• Expert at compiling various open source software on Linux and Solaris
• Experience with network equipment like routers and switches
• Experience with database setup like Oracle, mysql, etc.
• Familiarity with windows server OS (2003 and older) and windows media
server
• Testing automation using scripts and commercial tools is strongly desired
• General experience with network switching and routing protocols, like
VLANs, BGP, OSPF
• Ability to support a development and system test environment
• Experience with OS level tuning (tcp/ip, filesystem, etc) for optimal
performance
• Server engineering experience is strongly desired
• Strong documentation skills are a plus
• Ability to work with external storage using veritas
• SAN knowledge and configuration expertise
• Create software in pkgadd or rpm format for deployment
• Experience with working on SNMP based monitoring solutions
