The Sr. ETL Developer/Programmer is responsible to perform the requirements gathering, design, construction, testing and maintenance for global data transformations and data loading. This will include:
· Provide technical support · Design and develop or modify ETL processes using Informatica · Follow the change management process to resolve application defects or to implement development enhancements; Provide assistance with ETL standards and design for future supportability and ease of enhancements; Assist with the creation of reusable components as they relate to the ETL framework · Assist with the management of ETL scalability and system management; · Take ownership for any issue and work to reach resolution and prevent similar issues from recurring; · Lead ETL projects by providing accurate estimates, collecting requirements, developing timelines and work management; · Provide assistance with ETL design, development, and performance tuning; · Provide level-3 production support for data warehouse jobs on a rotational basis; Design and architect ETL solutions as part of a cross-functional team; and Troubleshoot production issues and resolve them, often under tight deadlines. Must have: · Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field of study; Master's degree highly desired. · Must also have at least 5 years of data transformation experience working with Advanced Informatica (8.x or higher), data warehouse - star schema, data modeling, Unix shell scripting, advanced SQL, and stored procedures. · TCP/IP networking, FTP protocols, MS Office, Relational database (Oracle), Informatica Administration, PowerCenter Real Time, and PowerCenter WebServices.
