Please respond to [email protected] Position: SAP Basis Admin.with Oracle DBA Location: St. Louis, MO Duration: 2-3 Months Extendable GC/Citizens/EAD Job Description: SAP Basis Administrator Responsibilities: Key responsibilities of the SAP Basis Database Administrator include: ü Installation, upgrade and maintenance of SAP systems. ü Provide database services and consulting to the design and implementation teams and sap support team ü Analyze, develop and maintain data architectures and process models within SAP ü SAP performance and tuning ü Oracle database backup and recovery administration ü Evaluation and design of interfaces between SAP R/3 and external systems ü Maintenance of the SAP Data Dictionary and Oracle database objects ü Migration of SAP application programs and data dictionary objects into production ü Cutover implementation support ü BASIS configuration administration ü Provide emergency support 7 days x 24 hours for SAP Basis. Required Skills: This position requires 5+ years of experience in relational and/or hierarchical database technologies, in-depth knowledge of data modeling concepts, broad knowledge of integrated application development methodology, and client/server technology. Knowledge in UNIX, Oracle and SQL are also required. Experience in SAP Basis, NETWEAVER and ABAP/4 are preferred. BS in Information Systems or equivalent experience is required. An applicant should poses good written and oral communication skills, excellent problem resolution skills, must like working in a team environment and have good interpersonal skills.
