ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
SOW/JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to support a transient
evaluation of the CrIS electronics, primarily start up and shut down conditions
on the power lines (main bus and secondary ps outputs). This individual would
need to have a a broad experience range in analog circuits with some digital
circuit knowledge as well, SPICE expertise (PSPICE preferred), and
FMEA/reliability/parts failure mode knowledge.
Position Description/Responsibilities:
Perform transient evaluation of CrIS electronics, primarily start up and shut
down conditions on the power lines (main bus and secondary ps outputs).
Analyze thermal/power stresses in passive components and provide report on
findings.
Document analysis results in standard format to be supplied.
Required Critical Skills and Expertise:
Generalist with experience in analog and digital circuit design/analysis/test
Experience in space electronics preferred
Excellent technical writing skills preferred
Knowledge of power sequencing issues/constraints, failure modes & effects
(FMEA), thermal analysis/effects, and power dissipation effects in passive
parts required
SPICE expertise required, Pspice experience preferred
Education Required:
BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. MS desired.
Experience Required:
5 years in relevant areas
Other Requirements
US citizenship required.
