Title: Hyperion Support SME (Subject Matter Expert)
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 6 plus months
Start: ASAP
Role: This is a Support Project and the Hyperion Subject Matter Expert (SME) will have to assist in creating a best in practice support organization in the following process areas:
1. Monitor incidents/problems/requests/questions logged into Remedy
2. Troubleshooting and resolution of reported issues within each support area and associated interfaces
3. Complete or assist project team with estimates for requested enhancements including alternatives & recommendations
4. Provide programming & configuration for break/fix support as required
5. Perform programming & configuration for budgeted maintenance/minor enhancements and budgeted Change Requests
6. Coordinate environment migrations, security set ups, and ongoing support
7. Perform unit testing for both break/fix and maintenance/minor enhancements
8. Maintain and support Hyperion Planning cubes
9. Maintain, update, and obtain required approvals for systems lifecycle (SLC) documentation (i.e.: System Requirements Documents, High Level Design, Low Level Design, Unit Test plans, etc.) for PPR’s and budgeted maintenance/minor enhancements
10 Provide status updates as requested while following Change Management and control procedures
11. Follow standard Software Delivery Life Cycle including record retention planning
12. Provide Subject Matter Expertise and respond to requests for knowledge/information (i.e.: internal GIS teams, business groups, infrastructure support, etc.)
13. Execute and monitor the IT related activities associated with financials for Month Close, Quarter end close and year end close
14. Monitor the successful completion of batch job cycles (as applicable)
15. Correct failures with batch job cycles (as applicable)
16. Create and maintain batch jobs and schedules (as applicable)
17. Support necessary scripts associated with Autosys scheduling (as applicable)
18. Coordinate with other teams as required (i.e.: internal GIS teams, ITRB, business groups, infrastructure support, etc.)
19. Perform standard data load and monitoring and support activities
20. Provide assistance for SOX, legal and regulatory compliance (ad-hoc queries, general assistance)
21. Support requests as defined in our Application Change Request system.
22. Provide oversight for the technical migration of code and configuration throughout the SAP landscape
23. Provide materials and training curriculum support to Training Services for training of users of Hyperion Planning
24. Provide 'train the trainer' and/or end user materials as appropriate
