Senior Oracle PL/SQL software developer required with organizational and analytical skills to contribute effectively within a team effort with following skills: *Environment - * Oracle 10g, TOAD, Sybase PowerDesigner, Visio, UNIX *Data warehouse experience *-* * Extensive experience working in Data Warehousing (ROLAP) applications in fast-paced environments. Experience working on Data Warehouse applications that handle very large quantities of data. *Data migration –* Extensive experience in data migration that requires deep understanding and design & development skills in preserving state of historical data in the next generation design *Performance tuning* -* * Experience with performance tuning of SQL scripts, applications and at database level. Extensive use of Oracle Explain Plan to generate statistics and tune the applications. *Design - * Experience in logical and physical design of database applications *Development - * Extensive experience working on custom applications using custom ETL tools like Oracle PL/SQL, SQL*Loader etc. Experience using shell scripts to extract and load data from various data sources * database, flat files etc. Experience using Perl as well as third part as ETL tool (Data Stage) in data warehouses. Create builds to install applications in production environments. Extensive experience working in Linux, Unix and Windows environment.
