BUSINESS ANALYST** *** Location: San Francisco, California Duration: 6 months + *THE CANDIDATE MUST COME FROM HEALTH CARE BACKGROUND AND HAVE OUTSTANDING SKILLS IN CLAIMS AND CHANGE MANAGEMENT*. Working with BSC Executives, Project Team members, subject matter experts and BSCs external vendors to complete the following: 1. Provide recommendations to the Project Team and BSC Executives on approach for documentation, analysis and redesign (documents may include job aids such as forms, checklists, process flows, policies and procedures, reports, dashboards, etc.) 2. Gather all existing documents and ensure formatting and style of documentation is consistent with agreed to approach 3. Develop process documentation inventory/repository and inventory all existing documents, working directly with subject matter experts within BSC and BSCs external vendors 4. Finalize the revised, existing process documents with Project Leads and Business Mgrs 5. Document and inventory remaining processes 6. Finalize remaining process documents 7. Perform analysis to identify easy process fixes and longer term fixes 8. Work with Project Leaders & Mgrs, who will finalize and prioritize recommendations 9. Implement fixes (including updating process docs), audit/ monitor process changes to ensure adoption occurs and produce reports on progress 1-2 Business Process Experts are needed for the Argus Conversion Project for ~6 months (May- Dec) Focus will be pharmacy claims processing, experience in claims processes preferred but not required 6-10 years experience doing business process work required (work must include analysis and implementing process re-design and not just creating documentation) Requires strong facilitation and negotiation skills, as well as significant experience utilizing MS Office applications (including Visio) in a live meeting environment / through web conferencing Change management experience required Prefer experience utilizing any of the following methodologies: lean thinking, six sigma, ISO, capability maturity modeling, Malcolm Baldrige, etc. (This is in order of preference.)
