*Job Functions*
- Based on industry best practices and service frameworks, assist client
in developing the processes and workflows to properly track, measure, and
report on IT related support helpdesk, break/fix, application change
requests, and service level agreements.
- Assist client in Modifying existing BMC Service Desk (v 8.9) Express
instance to support above developed processes and reporting requirements.
- Anticipated modifications to include changes in the following areas:
- Reporting
- Business Rules
- Views
- Forms
- Service Level Agreements
- Setup a test environment where changes can be validated before
production implementation.
- Production of support documentation and training of staff to ensure
knowledge transfer.
*Skill Requirements*
- Broad understanding of IT operations, support and IT service standards,
and application development processes
- Minimum of 2 years in-depth experience configuring and maintaining BMC
Service Desk Express running on a SQL Server Platform.
- Two or more unique engagements merging industry best practices with
client requirements to develop support processes utilizing BMC Service Desk
Express
- Ability to influence and lead cross functional workshops to drive
consensus
- Good written and oral communication skills. Visio experience required
- Service Desk Express Consultant Certification desired
