Position Title : Weblogic Administrator Location : Philadelphia, PA Duration : 12 Months. Rate : $45hr Skills Required: The Systems Programmer will serve as a member of the Web Infrastructure operations team. This position is responsible for administrating Oracle/BEA WebLogic servers (v8/v9) in a Linux and/or Windows environment. Responsibilities include the installation, configuration, periodic monitoring, performance tuning, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and support of application servers. Candidates must be proficient in WebLogic support and implementation. You should be a self-motivated team player with the ability to perform the responsibilities. This role will perform application deployment and roll-out with solid understanding of the following concepts: HTML, XML, J2EE, Secure Sockets Layers, Secure Certificates, Load Balancing, Application / JVM Tuning, TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP and firewalls and multi-tiered architectures. Weblogic Administrator in a J2EE development environment running on both Linux and Windows. 5+ years of Oracle/BEA WebLogic 8 and/or 9 Strong understanding of administration, clustering, and deployment technologies 5+ years of application design and implementation with Java with an emphasis on J2EE/EJB 5+ years of experience in Web infrastructure and deployment Strong Windows, UNIX and Linux skills Experience with Windows 2003 server and Linux is preferred Working knowledge of HTML, XML, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, LDAP, firewalls, and multi-tiered architectures Excellent performance tuning skills of WebLogic application server Excellent troubleshooting skills in various areas (start to finish) Proven ability to use programming and scripting languages including but not limited to Perl, JavaScript, and Java Excellent verbal and written communication skills Please reply back to this email with your most updated resume along With compensation requirements.
