Location: Long Island, NY Duration: 12 months (May go longer) Start: Immediate Rate: $ 45-50 all incl on C2C Title - Dimensions 9.0 & up Administration, Build/Release Management Following is the skill set that a candidate must have to be considered for this position. - Microsoft admin skills, for installation, implementation, integration, support and trouble shooting, including web and app servers (IIS, tomcat, apache, etc..) implementation and configuration. (3 Years Experience) and Good basic Unix administration knowledge - In depth knowledge of Server Hardware configuration and set up on a network and working with Network admins - Experience supporting a 24x7 high availability environment (24X7 will be needed) - Good knowledge of Backup and recovery strategies - Good understanding in failover and high availability concepts Job Description: - Specific Expertise with Dimensions 9.0 & up Administration and build management and process modeling, trigger customization, integration**s with other development tools (such as- Administration, Change, Version, Build/Release Management - Installation - Setting up products and projects - Remote repository access (Multi Site) - Support a multi program, multi project and many distributed development environments. - Expertise with Build and Release component, including utilizing ANT/Make, etc.. - Integrating different IDE with Dimensions such as RAD, WID, RSA. - Advise to different Project teams on CM best practices and set up Processes in Dimensions to enforce such Practices. - Customize the tools workflows and/or create scripts and tools to aid groups in the usage of Dimensions. - Prepare focused and targeted training materials (User manuals, Administrators manuals etc) and documentations for all user levels and provide an end user support - Good understanding of J2EE deployment - Unix and Windows scripting - Engage with users to determine change and release process requirements. - Management of Serena Dimensions for Project and Change Management Integration of Dimensions with third party and in-house tools. - Integration of Dimensions with third party and in-house tools. Essential skills: in depth Serena Dimensions experience including version, change & release management. - Oracle PL/SQL knowledge - Able to help the management lead the upgrade process rolling out Dimensions Version 10, including installation, updating integration**s with other tools as required and managing the rollout process across separate infrastructures. - Develop and maintain monitoring processes to ensure procedures and policies are being followed.
