3 months Oracle Data Services Integration Specialist Oracle/AquaLogic data integration specialist to support the data integration team's objectives of providing inbound and outbound interfaces among (Oracle 11g) and its Oracle-based ERP system. The ODSI specialist will work with Data Integration Team to: This position will assist the Interface Lead to design and construct data interfaces between various Oracle 11g databases with other systems during the development/construction phase, utilizing skills in Oracle Data Services (ODSI) / AquaLogic Data Services Platform (ALDSP). The consultant will design and construct inbound and outbound interfaces for PRiME data in the ODSI/AquaLogic environment. The consultant will assist development staff by being an expert advisor who can share "tricks of the trade" using ODSI including: * Identifying known issues with using the tool and providing effective alternatives to configuring interfaces. * Establishing repeatable processes for sending and receiving data feeds, * Designing and constructing inbound and outbound interfaces. * Creating and executing Installation and Verification Instructions for ODSI in needed environments The consultant will adhere to all applicable validation policies and procedures and assist as needed in developing design and configuration documentation, executing unit tests scripts, and recording defects. Works with the development and data integration teams to ensure the interoperability between the different components of the solution. Support the drafting of administrative support instructions Supports system testing efforts (e.g. bug fixes, analysis, and documentation). Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in information technology or relevant discipline or equivalent technical/administrative experience. * 5+ years of strong IT experience in data integration, integration of enterprise applications and software through full software development life cycle * Strong interface development background using ODSI, ALDSP, ODI or similar IDE. Some ODSI/ALDSP experience required. * Strong development background with SQL, xquery and xpath. * Oracle development technologies, Oracle RDBMS and data modeling a plus Preferred: * Life Sciences Organizational Structures: experience with contact centers and pharmaceutical product lines * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Experience documenting and transferring knowledge regarding technical solutions * Extensive experience in professional services consulting, SOA architecture planning, governance and implementation, and technical project experience related to enterprise application integration The candidate for this role should have worked on an IT system implementation team operating in a distributed collaborative model with consultants (accessible remotely using a laptop and telephone) and should have strong desktop computer application skills. Outstanding communication and documentation skills are desired as well as cursory knowledge of CRM (customer relationship management and BPM (business process management), and BRM (business rules management) environments and their integration to other enterprise applications.
