This is Sivaram from IT Trailblazers. We have the following immediate requirement for our direct client.
Title: DB2 DBA
Location: Foster City, CA
Duration: Long Term Contract (12+ Months)
Rate: $45/hr on Corp to Corp basis all incl.
Essential Skills:
- Should have strong DBA Experience on DB2 UDB on Unix (AIX, Solaris).
- Candidates must be well versed with DB2 UDB V8 and V9 Database administration on UNIX platforms.
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle is desired but not mandatory.
- Understanding of database administration concepts, policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Expertise in backup/recovery/fail-over methods and best practices
- Experience with developing, enhancing and managing UNIX shell scripts
- Knowledge of High-availability and Disaster Recovery solutions with DB2 UDB
- Team player with excellent analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
