Job Title: Data Architect Job Location: Columbia, SC Job Duration: 12 months with a possible 1 year extension Job Description: The Data Architect will be assigned to the Web/Client Server Applications programming group to be utilized on the "Child Care System Rewrite Project" and will report to the supervisor over this group. This person will be responsible for evaluating several Databases (CLIPPER, MS SQL, My SQL) and deciding on the best method for integrating them into MS SQL. This person will be responsible for designing and building the new Child Care Database as well as being a large part of the conversion effort. .Net Coding skills with VB.Net and ASP.Net would also be needed. This person must be able to communicate well with others with clearly spoken English due to the amount of communication that will be needed while organizing the database structure as well as working with the developers.
