* Title: System Admin Location: Downers Grove, IL Duration: 6 months* *DUTIES:* Support and establish Server Monitoring and alerting. Designing the computing infrastructure Providing technical assistance and consulting to users Researching changes to new versions of operating systems Maintaining each system and the respective services Monitoring, and Level 3 troubleshooting the environment for problems Developing tools for managing the system, and making all services available to users. Integration and management of many different types of technologies and services into a diverse environment including those outside the operating system domain such as networking services, host systems, and third-party software. Ensures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization. Mentors more junior level systems administrators *REQUIRED SKILLS:* Fully functional experienced and responsible for all technologies and skills related to managing and maintaining a large install base of computers running a version and/or versions of business critical operating systems. Experienced with industry system servers Very familiar with Hewlett Packard’s SiteScope and Microsoft System Center Operations Manager tools. Monitoring, and Level 3 troubleshooting the environment for problems Developing tools for managing the system, and making all services available to users.
