Senior java/web developer with min 8+exp Location: San Mateo, CA Start date is approximately Wednesday 5/13. Duration: 3+ months. Rate: $50/hr Maxxxx (not nego) Need locals to Bay Area Job Responsibilities: * Understand the functionality of the current client's own application and the requirements for the next phase of re-engineering * Design and document the essential foundations of the enterprise web components for XVUE internal application * Develop the web application as per the client coding standards and practices * Write test cases and test scripts for unit and system level testing * Work with the PM & Tech Architect, to provide statuses and project updates * Participate in other project activities as defined by the PM & Tech Architect Experience: * BS/MS EE/CS degree or equivalent with 8+ years of software development experience. * Must possess advanced work experience on Java and Web Technologies (JSP, Servlets, JSF, HTML, Java Script, CSS, AJAX) * Work experience in open source frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, and Struts * Experience in testing frameworks like JUnit AND TEST NG, tools like JMeter, * Experience in SQL coding on Oracle platform a plus. * Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Must be able to effectively communicate complex technical concepts with fellow team members as well as peers in other groups. Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision.
