Identifies tests that are most appropriate for automation, creates and maintains both automated and manual tests, and applies techniques that insure maintainable test assets. 4. Defines, develops and executes test strategies considering risk and cost of testing. 5. Design, development and maintenance of test assets. These assets will likely include Web Services client programs, silk test scripts for functional testing activities. 6. Execution of test plans 7. Work with development engineers to identify and resolve defects. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 1. Good understanding of Software development life cycle with an emphasis on Quality Assurance. 2. Linux/Unix system administration experience. 3. Demonstrated skills with automation tools such as Silk, Perl or other scripting language. 4. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. 5. Ability to adapt and quickly refocus in an agile software development environment. 6. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. 7. Ability to understand the features and customer expectations of assigned responsibilities. 8. Experience programming skills with some OO language such as VB.Net, Java, C++, or C# Optional Skills: 1. Engagement Type: Contract Short Description: Lead Data Modeler and ETL Developer experienced in Teradata Application Development with ETL experience in Data stage 7.5 Complete Description: General: The position requires interaction with system architects and BI and DW developers to evolve the reporting strategy and data warehouse integration strategy. The candidate will evaluate current architecture for deciding on optimal design to address changes needed for a PMO project. The project builds on the current architecture. The work effort for this project must be taken into account against other competing initiatives requiring use of the same models. The candidate must have strong technical and communication skills.
