*Position : Automation Test Engineer*
*Location : Dallas,TX*

*Description:*
Sr Test Analysts with advanced skills using QTP / Quick Test Pro. Must have
exp testing in full life cycle development projects, be highly organized,
and have excellent communication skills. Candidates MUST have solid test
automation experience, particularly with QTP, and be willing to do manual
testing as well.
*Primary responsibilities*
· Must have 7+ years of experience.
· Include creating and maintaining automated test scripts utilizing
QTP and other CFC tools,
· Generating test documentation,
· Providing reports on test tools, scripts and results, and mentoring
other QA team members as needed.
· Will help determine when automated testing is appropriate and the
expense warranted to improve efficiency, coverage, and overall testing
effectiveness.
· Must be able to analyze requirements,
· Create detailed test plans and manual test scripts, validate test
results and manage defects.
· Prefer candidates with mortgage banking terminology experience.
· Testing interfaces between several systems; analyzing complex,
written documents to extrapolate information and troubleshooting problems.
· Fulfilling quality assurance/Test roles throughout a full product
life cycle;
· AS400 Experience.
*NOTE:* QTP experience must be more advanced than "record and playback" with
some script modification. Client has a lot of batch testing and testing of
web services. These do not have user interfaces, which makes it impossible
to use record and playback. Client must have someone who knows how to script
using the expert view in QTP.
