Title : Novell Service Engineer Location : Sacramento, CA Duration : 6 Months Rate : $DOE Novell Dedicated Service Engineer to assist with the continuing maintenance and development of the Novell network and Identity Management (IDM) Environment. Tasks and Responsibilities Typical tasks that the Contractor will be expected to perform include, but are not limited to: * NetWare file and print services * eDirectory health checks/patches/management * NetWare and IDM patches and updates * iManager and related web based administrative interface work * Reports, LDIF, and related processes needed to maintain Directory services * Provide knowledge transfer to team * Implement and configure additional Novell IDM drivers (software licensing and maintenance must be purchased separately from this contract) * Implement and configure Novell iPrint services * Assist in applications using the IDM system for authentication and authorization as system will allow within the configuration parameters of the Novell product sets * Assist as time permits in additional enhancements to the overall infrastructure Deliverables In addition to the tasks described above, the Contractor will create biweekly status reports and participate in weekly staff meetings.
