Will prefer someone with Fixed income knowledge about various cash and derivatives product.** **Knowledge of interest rate derivatives and fixed income products.** Need a Senior Java developer to join the Sales Workstation team in order to develop and support a Trading System used for all Fixed income products. Sales Workstation is a Sales Trade Entry Application. It supports Agency, Corporate, Governments, High Yield, High Grade Credit, Mortgage, Municipal Bonds, CP and CDS businesses. This application provides Order Management, Trade Capture, Trade Control and Sales booking system for the prior mentioned products. This is a global system with over 3000 users in Americas, Europe and Asia. This is a Java based system and the team is currently developing an effective interface with a high performance, high volume, and distributed computing framework The ideal candidate will have 5 -8 years experience as a Core Java developer with a strong understanding of Object Oriented Design, patterns and analysis. This is a server side development position so should have good knowledge about core java, messaging and other J2ee technologies. Right candidate must be able to take ownership of projects and work independently. Experience working at a financial firm with a background in fixed income is highly desirable. Required Skills: J2EE technologies Core Java, Design Pattern, Multi-threading, Java 5 (or higher) programming JMS, Tibco RV, Database Weblogic Linux Fixed income knowledge about various cash and derivatives product.
