SQL Server DBA: · Administering over 70 SQL Server 6.5, SQL Server 7.0, SQL Server 2000, and SQL Base mission critical production servers · Responsible for installing and configuring all new SQL Server and SQL Base database servers, as well as, completing upgrades, service packs, RTF’s and patch installations for SQL Server, SQL Base servers and Advantage Data Transformer. · Providing input on infrastructure and hardware requirements on project using MS SQOL Server Databases. · Setting up test and production environments for new production applications. Also responsible for deploying SQL Server applications to production. · Responsible for planning, documentation and setup of backup and maintenance of the databases. · Creating and maintaining linked servers, creating and scheduling DTS packages and jobs. · Setting up replications and monitoring it.
