The Shared Security Developer must identify solutions to production issues and implement solutions in adherence to the Unified Process. The Shared Security Developer will work with the Shared Security team to provide 24x7 support coverage in the production environment and will assist with implementing strategic solutions identified by the CTO. Job Duties: * Support SUN Access Manager, Identity Manager, and SUN Directory Servers in a Production Environment * Develop and maintain new functionality for releases of the Enterprise Security Service * Respond to on-call, Production issues and provide resolution in a 24x7 environment * Document Production issues in an Incident Report for key stakeholders * Work with existing support staff to transfer administration knowledge of the existing system to ensure understanding and competency * Develop and maintain new functionality for releases of Enterprise Security Service * Provide the assistance designing and managing performance tests for the Enterprise Security Service in the Quality Assurance Environment. * Participate in design reviews and identify potential mitigation strategies for security risks * Document approach and core design * Document security integration processes Required Skills: * 5+ years experience in Sun Access Manager, Sun Identity Manager, and Sun Directory Server * 1-3 years Java programming experience * Experience with WebLogic and Sun Application Servers * Experience creating scripts in Shell, Java, and Perl * Experience with Web Services * Willingness to provide on call support in a 24x7 environment Experience desired: * Experience using the Rational Unified Process methodology * Experience writing and reviewing technical design solutions Skills needed: * Provide technology summaries and recommendations to team leads * Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with business and technical resources from multiple organizations and the other members of the team * Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities effectively * Use logic, experience and intuition to create solutions.
