Position Title : IT/ Server Specialist Location : Detroit, MI Duration : 6 Months. Rate : DOE Skills Required: Experience working on infrastructure projects; Candidates must have hands-on experience in server hosting projects; Candidate should have architectural solution design experience working on server Architecture in a UNIX, and Windows environment; Candidate should have strong experience with delivering and presenting client platform recommendations, while utilizing cost optimization models. This should be demonstrated across all communication dimensions; verbal, written, presentation and listening skills; Managing effective relationships with suppliers and customers; Strong organizational, problem solving, and decision making skills; Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure; Candidate should be able to Plan/Execute capacity management and performance analysis to assure the reliability/availability of infrastructure; Candidate should have knowledge across infrastructure disciplines/technologies and a broad understanding of IT standards/methodologies; Candidate should have systems integration expertise; Candidate should be able to define, plan, and design innovative solutions, including financial analysis of technical alternatives to meet business requirements; Candidate should be able to work in a Multi-Vendor environment. Understanding of ITIL processes is a plus; Candidate should have Automotive Experience - specific M&Q experience strongly desired.
