BA/BS in related field. Four to 10 years of progressive experience may be substituted for degree. Three (3) or more years of specific experience in the following: § Mercury QuickTest Pro § Mercury WinRunner § Mercury Quality Center § Test planning § VB Scripting for Automation Test § SQL Database testing § Testing experience with Web Services § Defect-tracking § Automated Mainframe testing § Automated dB (Oracle\dB2) testing § Experience with manual and automated test script design and execution § Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle § Ability to work in a team environment § Excellent written and verbal communication skills § Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Desired Qualifications: § Experience with test automation frameworks § Requirements traceability matrix creation and maintenance § Experience working on contracts for Federal agencies. § Ability to mentor entry-level resources in test automation § Thorough understanding of iterative software development methods Position Description: Software Test Engineer: The successful candidate will provide automated software testing support using QuickTest Pro for project teams within SSA.
