Please respond to [email protected] Position: SAP PI/XI Technical Analyst Location: Houston, TX Duration: 6+ Months Please submit only LOCALS to TX!!! This position requires a mid-to-senior level SAP NetWeaver Process Integration (PI, previously known as XI) Developer. The primary assignment for this would be a 20-24 week engagement to design, develop, test, and deploy multiple interfaces (to and from SAP) using the SAP NetWeaver PI 7.0 platform. Assist with defining requirements and developing Functional specifications for interfaces. Develop Technical specifications for interfaces. Develop interfaces on the SAP NetWeaver platform. Test and deploy interfaces. Ensure that Client and SAIC procedures and guidelines are followed, including full compliance with Change Management and SOX/Regulatory requirements. Work with Project team and with other 3rd. parties, including those who manage and support system hosting, system admin, database, and connectivity services. Develop application, systems, and procedures documentation - and ensure proper transition to business and support teams. Use the Mercury Change Management and Remedy ticket tracking tool to manage work activities and to maintain work progress information. Interface with all levels of end-users and management. Address customer issues and questions, as needed. Assist other team members as may be requested, both Onshore and Offshore. Handle other duties as may be assigned. Required Skills: Candidate must have proven SAP PI (XI) development experience. - SAP PI interface development experience in any/all of the following modules: PRA, FI, CO, AM, PS, PM, MM/EBP, HR - SAP interface development experience with Oil & Gas customers would be a plus. - Additional SAP interface development (especially SAP ABAP, Java, XML, ALE/IDOCs) and SAP Workflow experience would be a plus. - Proven ability to work with functional team members to translate functional specifications into technical specifications and code. - Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and the SAP NetWeaver PI 7.0 platform. - Ability to monitor performance and fine-tune interfaces / programs is required. - Ability to operate in a team environment and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Strong analytical and technical problem solving skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Experience developing solutions to meet project objectives and to resolve simple to complex technical issues - Experience following a rigorous application development methodology, and full lifecycle software and systems design experience - Experience in meeting critical deadlines, while maintaining flexibility to respond to changing requirements and priorities - Able to work independently with minimum supervision and ability to contribute as a member of a team - Customer interface skills - A Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related field Thanks & Regards, Joel Garner Technical Recruiter Data Group, Inc.
