BS degree in Computer Science or related field, MS degree preferred
Experience Requirements
Required Qualifications:
o 3+ years coding in Python
o 1+ years with Mixed-Integer Linear Programs
o 3+ years SQL experience, Oracle preferred
o Strong object-oriented design credentials
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills
o (X)HTML
o CSS
Preferred Qualifications:
o Knowledge of STAR schema conventions
o GUI development for Python applications
o Experience with Eclipse IDE
o Doxygen, epydoc, or equivalent documentation generator
o Javascript
Describe Project Details
The Python Application Developer will be responsible for enhancing and
maintaining an existing Python desktop application. The application operates
in a production environment and must be stable and scalable to support
production operations. It incorporates data extraction from relational
databases and mixed-integer linear programs. To be considered, candidates
should be knowledgeable in both of these areas as well as Python. The team
environment necessitates strong interpersonal and time-management skills;
interaction with the user community will be frequent and essential.

40 hours per week
