Position: SQL Architect/Lead with Strong SSIS and DW
Location: Murray Hill, NJ
Duration: 6 months
Rate: $52/hr C2C All Inclusive.
I am starting to wonder if they want a more senior person at a much
lower rate. I am not sure if you have any Senior SSIS / DW analysts
for North Jersey with strong SQL DBA and Oracle experience.

>From what we have seen of the candidates so far, they all appear to
have around 5 to 7 years experience, which seems appropriate.
Based on their resumes, they all seem to have a wide range of
experience with many, many technologies. This shows breath, but based
on our interviews to date shows a lack of depth.
The candidates should have the following skills:
Very Strong SQL Server Integration Services, (SSIS 2005/2008) skills.
They should not only understand the syntax, but the underlying
development methodology to employ when using this tool.
After a phone interview if we bring them in for a face to face, we
will open up the SSIS tool and ask them to perform some basic tasks,
so we are comfortable with their proficiency.
Strong SQL Server 2005/2008 Database engine, (T-SQL).
A strong understanding of the SQL Server catalog views, (i.e. sys.
Views).
Strong Oracle 10g/11g Database engine, (PL-SQL).
A strong understanding of the ORACLE system tables, (i.e. ALL_ DBA,
etc.).
Medium Erwin skills.
Should be able to reverse engineer from a DB and to generate DDL out
of Erwin.
