POSITION: EDI Coordinator
Location: Southern NJ
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: $30/hr on c2c
DESCRIPTION:
This position is the point of contact that manages the relationships and
first level support for internal merchants (buyers) and external trading
partners
(Vendors) when business is transacted via electronic data interchange (EDI)
including coordinating the day to day processing of the electronic
transmission of
Critical information (merchandise purchase orders) to and from our vendors
via EDI.
Duties:
* Processing of event driven vendor issues, problems, and
troubleshooting
* Processing of vendor requests for EDI, vendor certification, and
emails to vendor
Set up of vendors in EDI management system
Processing of legal contracts between BCF and vendors
Provide upc/sku support to vendors when required
Provide support to accounts payable team for EDI invoice related issues
Provide support to the distribution team for EDI ASN related issues
Process van migration requests
Any other duties as deemed necessary
Qualifications:
Self starter, desire to learn new technologies
Very high competencies in verbal and written communication skills
Very high degree of organization
Good EDI knowledge (850, 856 and 810 transactions are a must)
Some mapping, Unix Shell, SQL experience is a big plus
Experience with Windows 98/2000
Experience with MS Word, Excel, Netscape
