This is Jaya from IT Trailblazers. We have an immediate requirement for a Project Manager - Oracle Financial applications, Oracle eBusiness suite - Foster City, CA.
Duration: 11months+
Job Description:
* This individual will join the Corporate Systems Project Management Office on the Revenue Systems Program and will be responsible for successful project delivery while working with matrixed project teams comprised of Development, QA and Operations personnel.
* Will be expected to provide project management expertise to multiple concurrent cross-divisional project efforts.
* Projects will use a mix of internal and outsourced, local and remote resources for project delivery.
* Will be expected to embrace teamwork while promoting a culture of openness and flexibility.
* The candidate is expected to have the expertise and ability to provide direction, motivation and encouragement to the team.
* Will be expected to exhibit flexibility including the ability to adopt new roles and responsibilities as required
Required Skills
· 10+ years experience of project management experience with finance industry background.
· Experience with Oracle Financial applications, Oracle eBusiness suite.
· Understanding of Visa’s operating certificate, global billing and revenue systems.
· Understanding of Visa’s business drivers.
· A minimum of 5 years of management experience in leading technical teams in delivering multi-tier web based applications.
· Working knowledge of the software development life cycle from requirements gathering to post-implementation production support, including quality assurance and system integration.
· Strong process orientation and a solid understanding of project management techniques, methodologies and best practices.
· A history of successful delivery of large scale project efforts.
· Individual should be extremely self-motivated with the ability to work independently while coordinating activities with cross-divisional teams.
· The candidate must be a strong team player with the ability to communicate with technical and business experts at all levels of the organization.
· The candidate needs to demonstrate solid analytical skills including the ability to think strategically.
· PMP certification is required.
· College degree in Computer Science (MS Degree Preferred)
