Required Skills:
* 5+ years hands-on experience designing & developing
high-performance, java- based applications
* Advanced understanding of the Core Java platform, including
multi-threading, memory management and high-performance IO
* Operating Systems: proficient in development & deployment on both
Unix, Linux, & Windows NT/XP platforms
* Oracle and PL/SQL
* Good understanding of configuration management, testing and software
deployment processes
* Familiarity with entire development lifecycle
* Object oriented design (incl. GoF Patterns)
* Strong communication skills
candidates coming from C++ background.
Preferred Skills:
* Team leadership experience
* Appreciation of agile development methodologies
* 2-3 years of financial experience (preferably Investment Banking)
* Ilog Jrules
* Experience working with distributed teams
