Please respond to [email protected] Position: Senior Performance Engineer Location: Omaha, NE or Jersey City, NJ Duration: 6+ Months Rate: BEST RATE Job Duties: Working with clients to establish performance requirements for applications Working with clients to establish engagement objectives and scope Constructing project plans to meet engagement objectives, and managing service delivery throughout the lifetime of the engagement Working with Performance Engineers to design performance tests that will meet the engagement objectives Working with Performance Engineers when authoring written test plans and results documents Leading meetings during discovery, client review of test plans, and client review of final results Ultimately responsible for the client obtaining value from engaging the Performance Engineering service Required Skills: Ten years or more experience in technology Five years or more experience in performance engineering or performance-oriented business analysis or service management Solid understanding of project management methods and tools Excellent verbal skills and excellent technical writing skills Must be able to identify when clients are requesting performance testing that is in conflict with their stated goals, and must be able to debate and convince them as to the correct action to take without alienating the client.
