Description: The selected candidate will perform the following duties: - Planning, identifying, and analyzing conversion requirements - Preparing conversion specifications - Developing and testing conversion programs, and converting the data - Ensuring Data integrity, Data cleansing and purification, Data quality, Data verification, Data loads for testing purposes, and Data load completion - Identify how the conversion requirements will be confirmed and refined - Map out how the data elements in the legacy system will be analyzed - Identify how to match current clients to new program clients - Identify an overall approach to cleansing data - Define the format and content of the conversion specification deliverable - Identify the approach to use for manual data conversion - Create the schedule for conversion activities - Keep the data conversion consistent with the implementation schedule - Write programs to extract data from the current systems or utilize existing extract routines if possible - Develop or provide any training, documentation, maintenance, or enhancement software as required to support the conversion from the existing to new system - Conduct a system test of all conversion software to demonstrate its functionality and performance before conversion Required Skills and Experience: 6+ years of experience performing database administrator duties utilizing MS SQL Server (2000 or later) on projects of similar size and complexity 3+ year of experience administering web-based database applications on a project of similar size and complexity 3+ year of experience performing database administration on MS SQL 2005 or later in a technician role (e.g. creating databases, backup/recovery, performance tuning etc.) on projects of similar size and complexity -- Thanks & Regards, Anil Ling Technologies, Work: 703-880-2640 Extn: 4013 [email protected]
